It's not dipped, it's ThinSkin™!!

ThinSkinTM is made from the same tape as FaceAwayTM and is sold in uncut sheets for use on all your hunting gear. You'll be amazed at how great it looks and feels on your gear.  Your  gear will look like it has been dipped, but at a fraction of the cost.  Each package contains 12 5"'x7" sheets. These sheets can be cut to any shape and can be used on virtually anything.  It easily conforms to curved surfaces.   And, because it is breathable, it will retard rust by not holding in moisture like other camo tapes.  Conceal and protect all your equipment with ThinSkinTM.

How much ThinSkin™ does it take to camouflage a gun?

Depending on how much of the gun you want to camouflage, it will take from 6-10 sheets.  There are 12 sheets in a package, which is enough to camouflage an entire gun and still leave some left over for a scope or other small gear.

How durable is ThinSkin™ and how long will it stay on my gear?

ThinSkinTM will stay on your equipment for months, or even years. Depending on your usage, you may occasionally notice small tears in the tape. These can easily be patched with a small piece of ThinSkinTM

Does ThinSkin™ leave adhesive residue?

It depends on the surface to which it is applied. On many surfaces it comes off with little or no residue. If you want to remove ThinSkin, test a small area first to see whether it will leave a residue. If it does, we recommend "Mostenbocker's Lift Off #2". For best results, apply it to the tape before removal and allow it to saturate the tape for at least a minute. Lift Off #2 makes easy work of the removal and is gentle on virtually all surfaces, even wooden gun stocks. It is available at most home improvement stores and will soon be available on our website.

Is ThinSkin™ waterproof?

Since ThinSkinTM is breathable it allows water to evaporate rather than get trapped under the tape. If your gear gets wet, the tape will dry and not leave trapped moisture. This is why ThinSkinTM retards rust.
